Yesterday was a wonderfully perfect day for July 4th festivities--it was 80 and clear as a bell and breezy (though it did get a touch chilly in the hour around sunset, when the sun wasn't quite down and the fireworks hadn't started yet). It's very grey outside. This makes it very hard for me to wake up and be cheerful at work. Rain just makes me want to snuggle into my massive pile of blankets and pillows with the cat tucked underneath my chin, and sleep the day away.
